American Classic Music Festivals has been in business since 1989 and is owned and operated by former music educators and is focused on the needs of directors and their students.

American Classic Music Festivals offer band, choir and orchestra directors of elementary through high school level programs several positive and supportive choices for their groups. American Classic has both adjudicated and non-adjudicated, competitive and non-competitive festival options available.

Our adjudicators are chosen from highly respected music educators who teach at the University, high school and in some cases at the middle school level. They are charged with the responsibility of helping your students grow musically in a way that is helpful, supportive and positive. All performing groups at American Classic Music Festivals are recognized with a trophy presentation. Outstanding soloists are recognized with Soloist Medals.

Directors are in complete control of their festival experience as there is no required music list at American Classic. Our performance locations include major symphony halls, University performing arts centers, quality high school performance facilities, and for some choral events church sanctuaries.
